TriCem® 3800: the new anti-corrosion coating

TriCem® 3800 is a highly corrosion resistant thin film coating, with performance that dramatically exceeds the properties of zinc, zinc alloy and electroless nickel plating. It provides a cost effective solution to corrosion and is available on a wide range of substrates.

A new black thin film coating - TriCem® 3800 has been developed by Armourcote® to provide outstanding levels of corrosion resistance and appearance.

The ability to offer corrosion resistance of 2000 hours to white corrosion, dramatically exceeds the performance of traditional zinc and zinc alloy plated finishes.

Why is TriCem® 3800 different from other coatings?

TriCem® 3800 has high bond strength and adheres to a wide range of substrates, including all steel alloys, sintered metal, aluminium, cast iron, brass and copper.

With a film thickness of less than 20 microns, the anti-corrosion coating has a smooth, lubricious and hydrophobic surface and is available in WEEE/Rohs and ELV versions

TriCem® 3800 has a proven track record in the following applications:

  • Hydraulic Valve Manifold Blocks

  • Valve Components

  • Pivot Pins

  • Safety Harness Buckles
